Matt is the assurance services partner with Dam, Snell & Taveirne, Ltd. and was promoted to managing partner in 2017. He has over 25 years of experience in public accounting.

Matt has extensive experience as a trusted business advisor working with small to medium sized businesses in the areas of taxation, accounting, financial reporting and general business consulting. Matt enjoys working closely with personal income tax clients and helping them minimize their income taxes.  Matt also provides auditing services to the firm’s governmental and commercial entities.

Matt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. Outside of the office Matt is actively involved with a local school board where he serves as the President and Treasurer; is a current member of the Fox Lake Rotary Club and past President and Treasurer; is a current member of the Fox Lake Chamber of Commerce and past Vice President; serves on the finance committee of his church; and in his free time enjoys playing volleyball.
